Hi experts,
I am currently SMTS and I got an (verbal) offer from LinkedIn after my virtual on-site for front end engineer position. I have 7 (5 & half at salesforce + 1 and half in India) yoe and I was interviewing for a senior role but after the interviews recruiter came back and said they are offering me software engineer role due to some technical gaps.
My interviews were overall good, but i could have done better for the UI round and mostly ran out of time(so that could be the reason)
Is it worth the down level to move to LinkedIn?
Can I negotiate for higher pay for down level considering my yoe?
Whats the highest offer for SWE?
How is the promotion to SSE?
I’m still interviewing with other companies(meta, dropbox, uber, robinhood, atlassian) for senior roles. Any advice appreciated 🙏
