So I sometimes get very lucky but in general I'm an engineer and not a business expert. Crypto has done me VERY well and I am thinking if I should sell some this year.

But for general investing my earned income I'm wondering if I should just stuff it all in wealthfront and call it a day? 401k and IRA are all maxed out already 401ks in target date funds and IRA just in VTSAX.

Personal capital tried to sell me on their advisor service but 0.89% is quite a fee.

Multi-billion dollar industries that run on crypto? What, like shady dark web marketplaces? There isnโ€™t a single multi-billion dollar industry that runs solely on crypto.

Op, just stuff majority of your investments in some automated service and call it a day. But allocate a % whether it is 5, 10, 15 pick your number and use it to speculate with investments you like (crypto, collectible, high growth stock etc). This will allow you to experiment and you can focus on your job that will likely grow your income, so you can invest more.

Go with a broker that doesn't charge any fees, and dump it all in a handful of ETFs. Easiest way to invest without doing in-depth research.

    S&P index IVV/VOO
    Tech index QQQ/VGT

You can pick individual stocks as well, but you'd need to do more research obviously.

Feel free to keep some of your assets in crypto, like 5-10% so you're not risking a lot in the event of a crash, but the growth would be beneficial.
