A warning to all that are considering Bloomberg:
Starting October 18, there will be huge pressure from management to return to office 3 days a week.
Meanwhile -- running the function 'NTFY' on the Bloomberg Terminal shows that the # of COVID cases of the (very few) employees that are choosing to go in, is greatly increasing.
Management is also taking great leaps to hide the attrition data from everyone. And vaccination rates remain unclear.
Please make anyone who is considering joining us aware. I am worried for our loved ones. #returntooffice #bloomberg

And if you’re top 10% you probably have recruiters constantly knocking on your door with potential 50% comp increases.
Company is going to be in a tough situation
Obviously I can redo the previous process and jump ship.
But I wanted to stay longer + dislike the effect it's having on my colleagues.
Any college grads that don't mind NYC CoL for a bit, now is a good time to try BB.
That being said everything in this post is accurate. October 18th is hybrid RTO with some non-ENG departments already in the office. It's uncertain if full RTO will be enforced in the future.
Lots of oldschool mentality at the top, but oldschool direct-TL styles are being reigned in by a more modern HR.
