For some personal reason, I have to switch jobs. I want to move to San Fran Bay area. The hiring managers look super young and only cery few of them are really good. However, I sont think I will learn from them and it makes me uncomfortable if my manager has less experience than I do. Is it a bay area thing that young people go to work after college?
Please do refer to it as San Fran.
What else people supposed to do after college? In other states/ countries people don't work after college?
Weird ask, but IBM and Oracle have older managers if that's your thing. Work in a research intensive org or STEM academia if you want to have a phobia toward "stupid"
It can be like this at any kind of tech company.
...The f🤬k did I just read? How does one look down on someone and judge them simply by age... Well don't say shit when the same happens to you when you're old and unable to keep up with technology. But then again you sound like the older people at the job. Stop being blinded by your own ignorance.
I bet he/she is from Seattle
Rofl you need to humble yourself if you think you can’t learn anything from people younger than you. You don’t learn because you didn’t want to, not because others can’t offer anything

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
And if you don’t upgrade your skills you will work for people having lesser experience than you. More experienced does not mean a better worker.
