Are there any software engineering roles in the Bay Area that are involved with trading or is that only Chicago/NY/Miami/Austin? Trying to find some options - potentially Robinhood or Coinbase come to mind. TC: 420
Big tech have their trading arms too
Really? Never heard of these? Any subsidiary names?

They usually have restrictive non-competes, which is impossible to enforce in California.
Look at Voleon group in Berkeley. I am joining them in a bit. Seems like a good place.
Hey, what’s good with the Site Reliability, Production Operations, and DevOps roles?! And why all three? There is mad overlap and looks like they can just have one team with different roles with cross training?! Are they legit remote with no take back? Since everyone there seems to have a MS or above, would it be best to have that in the mix on the resume before applying? For context, I am learning C++ and have to dive deeper in Kubernetes for a few things. Everything else I know or touched basically.
They have their roles named wrong. This came up in the interviews too. Their data analsy role is actaully a Data Ops Engineer. Their SRE roles is actaully a system ops role?
Wealthfront has open roles.
Op, what are the options available in Austin?
