You can be arrested and deported… Think twice before supporting terrorists https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MeHsbuAWzp0
Non-citizens are not entitled to US Constitutional rights, including free speech and protest.
When are we deporting Ron DeSmolpp to Mexico?
Follow local law strictly if you are away from your home country (no one help you if you are in trouble)
Savarkar being savarkar. Bhogada veer.
If by protesting you break the law, then yes you will be deported. Your choice
Depends on the immigrant - H1B don't even want to be arrested. Green card, misdemeanors are OK. Depends on the city too, NY has city fines such as disturbance of peace that is like a parking ticket has no migration impact.
How do these immigrant students have so much time? 😅
International funding
you expect americans to protest for themselves? they dont even vote for themselves anymore
Not saying this isn’t untrue or is right, but as someone who studied abroad and earned a degree overseas, the US consulate directly warns student visa and resident holders not to participate in rallies/protests abroad. In the US, you at least get a fair trial and arrests only occur when there’s violence/damage etc. so in this case, probably best to follow the law and you’ll be fine. Else like anywhere else you can be arrested, and yes, deported if you commit a federal crime.
