The stock market is a Ponzi scheme now. To fund old investors they have to print new money. Else moment old investors start taking out; the market starts crumbling and they have to print money. To print money they need reasons and hence the mindless wars.
Whole USA is about transferring wealth to entrenched rich (boomers) now. That's the theme of just about everything all the time. Won't change without a revolution or boomer death in 10-15 years minimum. And even then, you'll have 1-2 or even 2.5 lost generations harbored in the country
How's Sanofi now? Took a couple interviews and it seems like they're going all in on AI/ML at the expense of wetlab depts like oncology and small molecule. Not sure how to feel about it. Are things still business as usual, or are people trying to jump ship?
It’s a cash cow
Let me guess, earth is flat and moon landing was faked?
Did you carry any memory? Two weeks back stocks fell for 6 straight days. Then over a weekend they passed 87 b of new money for mindless wars. And since then it is back up again
Ever heard of correlation vs causation? How does removing money from US economy increase US stock market cap? Ever heard of stock market volatility? Sp500 volatility index this week isn’t crazy high right now. So stock market in general is this volatile over past few years
Stocks have been Ponzis ever since we got off the gold standard.

Not true. I would say since 2010. Turbo charged after 2020 basically when they saw that they can pull it off via wars. Pandemic helped.
The stock market is not a ponzi lol. You are buying ownership in a business. In the short term though especially the stock market can easily be disconnected from book value and the economy and is rather a bet on future valuation. It's clearly not a ponzi scheme as the assets you own have real value, generate income, and can be traded easily.
Not really Ponzi, but wouldn't trust official inflation indexes.
For non-dividend paying stocks, you must have a buyer willing to pay a higher price to make a profit. That much should be obvious. Edit: assuming you aren’t selling option contracts
Sounds like a bitter crypto loser
That's not how stocks work.

For what?
Amazon wanted to say “retard” because they’re looking to get another +10% on their overpriced stonk. That’s the only way to cover 20% / year bananaflation.
