#parenting Has anyone experienced todder screaming in middle of night scared? My 2.5 yr old says she is scared of her room and bed. Refuses to go back to sleep unless we get her in our room. This is impacting her and our sleep frequently. Anyone faced this? What did u do?#workingparent
i am 34 n i am the same - awake at night. where can I get a mommy.
In Japan, you can rent one
Cosleep
This is very normal for that age. What has worked for us is to talk about it during the day. Talk about what the expectations are (her to sleep alone) at a time when she’s not tired. Ask her what’s been scaring her. Mine has nightmares of a “scary Halloween guy from the pumpkin patch” we talked about what we can do if he feels scared (think about happy stuff, think about mama chasing that scary guy away, picture the scary guy turning into a hotdog LOL).
We faced a similar situation with our 1.8-month-old. She woke up, screamed, and wanted to go out at 3 am. We offered her milk for two days to make her sleep. After those 2 nights, we take her out for a night walk, and she never woke up during the night. Make sure your toddler is full and tired.
Can't relate. My kid is 5 years old and still sleeping with us.
Yikes do you and your spouse ever have sex?
Nah. I'd rather beat my meat to imaginary hotties
It is age appropriate. Just have her sleep with you or in your room. She will outgrow it. Our 5 year old still sleep with us
Thank you for all responses. Her sleep hours are longer than us. Given both of us have demanding jobs its hard for us to sleep that long. We tried cosleeping but her hours reduced and started falling sick often. She has been sleeping well for few months and this started suddenly. At one point she scared me by asking who was walking there by pointing to empty hallway during the day 😱.
She sees dead people. Get a escort
Watch insidious. Maybe theres a ghost in the room. You need to call an escortist asap
>escortist What would a lady escort do other than help the husband?
Get her a nightlight
Could be night terrors. Very common.
