One Friday off every quarter. (used to be half day Fridays every week for sales folk) My manager is a good dude who cares. Recent acquisition of new products to sell, however, zero training on most new products until long after they have been launched for general release.
The mass exodus of effective leadership since the PE takeover should tell you something. New sales leader is an Oracle fossil replacing our previous Oracle fossil. Quotas are wildly unattainable due to recent changes to sales roles. Leadership has decided micromanaging and throwing hours of useless enablement will fix the lack of sales in a product that has been caught up to by previously pedestrian competitors. Product built for SMB, not enterprise. Many sales leaders have never sold a thing. Adding redundant products and steps to sales process has bogged down speed to close. (leadership doesn't understand this, nor care) Honestly, it was an amazing place to work for a long time. It has slowly but surely become a toxic work environment for anyone in sales. Marketing, renewals, customer support do not even come close to doing their jobs. SC/SE resources are non-existent. Healthcare is garbage now, pressure to not take extended maternity/paternity leave is wild. Run, don't walk from any offer unless you're in one of the departments I mentioned who doesn't do their job. In that case, you'll be here forever.
