Blind Presents: 15 Companies With The Best Wellness Efforts

A study by the Harvard Business Review found that for every dollar invested in wellness, companies average a return of $2.71 by way of increased productivity, decreased absenteeism, and reduced healthcare cost. The research into the connection between wellbeing and company performance just keeps on growing and it looks pretty conclusive; employee wellbeing has a critical impact on numerous areas of business performance.

At Blind, we gather workplace insights from over 4.1 million work-email verified users to understand how they feel about their workplace. With the recently launched workplace culture benchmarking tool, Blind Hub, we compiled a ranking of the 15 Companies With The Best Wellness Efforts, based on nearly 8,000 employee responses on the Blind App

This survey began running in early October, grasping how companies were taking care of their employees in light of the surging pandemic, past election, and socially distant holidays. The survey asked the following three questions, on a spectrum of strongly agree to disagree strongly:

  1. Your company values the health and wellness of its employees.
  2. Your company provides you with the resources to take care of your health? (ex. sufficient PTO, mental health resources, physical health resources).
  3. Your company encourages you to take time off to take care of your overall well-being.
