Working with friendly engineers is a blast. Bamboo goes out if its way to hire nice people. We get a paid vacation - $2000 - which is nice. Being able to work remote full time is great.
Bamboo is not trying to pay for top talent. They're notoriously tight with funds. Employees get phantom units - shares, basically - that have zero value unless we sell or go public, and management keeps saying we shouldn't focus on that. The paid vacation is a nice little bonus, but it's... little. We're losing developers because of the salary issues. It's painful to see.
