Some really smart engineers to work with, work remotely, work balance
1. CTO moved his former teams from Blackberry and Adobe with no interviews whatsoever 2. CTO is quite inexperienced to lead product directions, distinguish itself from other competitors. Instead just copy features from others or come up with farcical projects with no vision if it can actually help user adoption 3. CTO only listens to, and makes decisions with the small circle of a few architects that he worked with previously, and then put on a show of broad discussion with other engineers seeking ‘input’ 4. CTO inflated the titles for all the managers, ironically after layoff. Certainly did not care to improve morale of the IC engineers 5. Failed to capitalize the market from the work from home trend, executive leaders came in and failed miserably on the go-to-market strategy 6. Politics: waves of ousting, and voluntary leaving of founding members and earlier employees 7. equity is a joke 8. It’s really embarrassing they put up obviously fake reviews on the other site (most of them are now removed), C-level people are really desperate of their own reputation for planning future careers, knowing this company is running to the ground
