There is a great work-life balance and there are some great people to work with.
Leadership is more flakey than the test suite - they don't know what they want or how to plan/execute for what they want. Growth opportunities are severely limited and ultimately come down to luck and tenure as the company changes the promotion system several times a year. There is a lot of turnover at all levels including the C-suite. The decision-making process is extremely political and not structured. One moment the C-suite may request urgent feature-level implementation changes. The next, an architect is making large product decisions. They continue to slash employee benefits while increasing spending in other areas such as hiring for positions that were previously laid off.
