IC managers care about employee experience, and benefits included RRSP matching, monthly food/internet stipend, and coverage for therapy for registered clinical counsellors (not often covered at other companies).
Directors and VP's are grossly out of touch with their teams and foster a strong tech bro environment. It's a bit cliquey, a lot of managers and directors have been there a long time and play favourites with some IC's which is kind of weird. Compensation is low; got a 30k raise when I left.
