Really kind coworkers. Decent time off and lots of team bonding events. Because it is a startup, there’s lots of opportunity to make an impact. Leadership is kind and will make time to hear you out.
Bad micro managing managers or at least there is one with a lot of say. She bleeds that culture downward and sideways. Eden feels entitled to your time even on weekends. Just because some managers work insane hours doesn’t mean everyone needs to. Instead of pay increases they dangle promotions they have no intention of giving. Actually hired a COO at one point who had some great ideas to standardize and refresh levels+comp. They parted ways over disagreements with C-suite. All the kind and competent managers seem to have jumped ship or have been pushed overboard. Very bad transparency. Round after round of layoffs. Also, technical interviews are more challenging than necessary especially for the slap in the face comp they offer you after. I was interviewing people. We underpay.
