Remote. Culture was great before hiring loads of Amazon PMs, then it became more toxic and high pressure and impersonal.
The company wastes millions building features no one asked for just so they could maybe attract customers. Rule number one in business is that you validate that there's a market for your product before you commit. We had two rounds of layoffs where they cut around 40% of employees each time. Maybe when you're running a business, you should first verify that people will give you money in exchange for your services. Everyone stresses themselves out over deadlines that are whipped up out of thin air with no customer waiting. How do you go 10 years without being profitable or finding a product fit?
