Reminder though, TxDOT says road conditions are as bad as we've seen after up to a half-inch of ice overnight from freezing rain.
Hundreds of South Austin residents waited in a line stretching down South Congress Avenue to get supplies at a newly reopened H-E-B, with similar lines being reported at the grocery chain's locations across Austin. The retailer had closed stores after a historic snow storm iced roads and cut of power to thousands.

Highland Lake H-E-B grocery stores in Marble Falls, Burnet, and Kingsland are open from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, in response to the winter storm and driving conditions. Store officials are monitoring the weather and driving situations as well as power outages and could further adjust hours.
H-E-B is reopening some stores with very limited hours on Wednesday, February 17, following the second in a series of brutal winter storms blasting through Texas.
