- Remote work culture is good - Small group with lots of smart people, which forces you to be on your game - Average employee is pretty young, which is good if you're an experienced engineer, you don't have to do too much to earn your keep. Just drop some of those hard-earned skills every now and then - Sexy product (no other way to say it, it just is, go look) - (Former) CEO, Ken was one of the best I've known - Compensation isn't bad compared to other companies at it's level, but is more stagnant than majority I've encountered
- Given heap's size relative to it's need to keep up with the competition, there are times where you'll feel overworked. - Young+smart team comes with unnecessary one-upmanship sometimes (kids, smh) - Acquisition might change the company culture in a way that Heap might not be 100% prepared for - Workload means management typically has bigger fish to fry than invest in your career growth in a meaningful way
