There is plenty of intrigue in the 2021 NFL draft. It's looking more certain that the first four picks in this year's draft will all be quarterbacks. The order and the teams selecting in those spots is still a little up in the air, but it has created a great problem for the Bengals sitting at five to select one of the best players in the draft.
NFL Maurice Moton @@MoeMoton Twitter Logo Featured Columnist Three weeks into the 2021 NFL offseason, notable veterans remain on the free-agent market, which means teams can still land a player who can shore up weak areas for the upcoming campaign.
Early on in the draft cycle, linebacker was a popular pick for the Raiders in the first round. But after free agency, that position doesn't look quite as dire for Las Vegas. The team restructured the contracts of Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski and re-signed veteran Nicholas Morrow.
We've hit a bit of a lull in the NFL news cycle with free agency hype behind us and the NFL Draft still more than a few weeks away. So, why not spice things up with some hot takes? R.J.
With Pro Days across the nation nearing an end, NFL teams are using the athletic testing numbers to finalize their draft boards. For some prospects, their stocks improved after their athleticism shined, while some saw theirs drop a little bit after showing to not be as athletic as their tape might have displayed.
As we inch closer and closer to the 2021 NFL draft, it's becoming clear what the Raiders intend to do with the No. 17 pick. The team has a massive hole on the right side of their offensive line and it appears the Raiders will use their first pick on a right tackle.
Why hello there BGN, it has been a while. Draft season is upon us and I have been trying to watch as many prospects as possible so I can complain when my favorite prospect is sitting there and Howie decides to take yet another defensive end...

NFL Chris Roling @@Chris_Roling Twitter Logo Featured Columnist NFL free agency seemed wilder than usual during the 2021 offseason. Despite a reduced salary cap ($182.5 million), some big contracts were handed out (think: $138 million over six years for Trent Williams in San Francisco).
For the seventh year, I've navigated the depths of our NFL.com database of unattached free agents to build a starting roster of players who remain available to all 32 teams. The goal of the Graybeards is the same as it ever was: Just win (sometimes), baby.
I'd like to start things off here with an interesting fact I found out over the weekend: You can't buy wine in Tennessee on Easter Sunday. That fact is brought to you by someone who tried to buy wine in Tennessee on Easter Sunday AKA me.
The wide receiver free-agent market is now bare. Cleaned out. Gone. Finally, the Ravens, who had apparently been waving around Monopoly money to receivers to this point, found someone to take it; JuJu Smith-Schuster and Sammy Watkins passed (and some others possibly as well), before Watkins came around to taking it as the last man standing.
The NFL is set to make some significant changes to its schedule over the next several seasons as a result of the new television contract and 17-game season, and there's one alteration that may have some mixed reviews amongst fans.
For years, NFL players have been restricted to certain jersey numbers depending on position. The NFL is always trying to find a way to make an event significant in an attempt for fans to pay attention to football all year -- which has played out masterfully for the league. This time, the shield may have outdone itself.
There's a whole lotta hand-wringing going on over slights uttered about Justin Fields' work ethic last week by ESPN's Dan Orlovsky. The charges Orlovsky lobbed during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show were -- in context -- benign. Orlovsky said he "heard" the Ohio State quarterback was a "Last one in, first to leave ..."
While the Washington Football Team took home the NFC East crown a season ago, one could make the argument that they aren't the favorites to repeat, especially with a healthy Dak Prescott or actual development from Daniel Jones.
The Steelers' 2021 schedule already looked like a daunting one and it didn't get easier when the NFL officially added a 17th game last week and gave the Steelers a home date with the 12-4 Seattle Seahawks. The Steelers already had the hardest schedule in the NFL for 2021, according to their opponents' 2020 win-loss [...]
The Atlanta Falcons are in an interesting position in the NFL Draft. With the No. 4 overall pick, Atlanta has prime real estate to select one of the top quarterbacks on the draft board, even if it will be the last of the consensus top four signal-callers (Trevor Lawrence, Zack Wilson, Justin Fields, and Trey Lance).
As the actual draft approaches, expect mock drafts to have the top five quarterbacks finding their way into the top 8. Also expect the second tier of QBs to sneak into Round 2, which is exactly what happens this week in our two-round mock draft. No surprise at No.
