The company is stable, you could work there for the next 20 years if that’s your thing. The workload is light, you’ll never be putting in more than 40hrs unless you want to. None of the work is particularly challenging. You don’t really need to keep up with trendy languages/frameworks.
The pay is typical for non-tech company in the Midwest if not below average. Might be the only company I’ve seen that doesn’t 100% coverage health/dental/vision/etc. Most of the work is mind numbingly boring. They forced hybrid despite struggling to bring in new talent and losing loads of talent. Upper level management is pretty clueless. Some talented people but obviously most really talented people are going to leave for a remote job that will double their salary. Seems to be going downhill in the past 6 months to a year so I wouldn’t join unless they’re your only offer.
