Hey great co-workers.. checks clear and 401k is robust (I am in engineering dept but exact job title was not a choice in blind)
Lets get Started 1. Covid Response - Yep we all been home awhile and it is going well.. But they re-evalutate every month for the next month.. This is possibly the dumbest possible way to manage your people IF you cared about them. The virus is running rampant and we normally have a very toxic work environment where you don't take time off if you are sick. This is a terrible way to treat people, most companies are going further for their employees, pps/prth does the least. Rumor is they are going to make the office mandatory and seems this is the way they will thin out their numbers. 2. Lack of Raises... Mostly 90% of the company has not been given raises at all for over 3 years.. Yep.. 3 years.. no raises.. they wonder why the place is a revolving door of devs, cloud guys, etc.. 3. The Vice Presidents of Engineering - Yes they are all very smart and great at what they do.. None of them have respect for us (their employees). It just do your work, do as your told, shut up and don't talk. You can not trust any of them. 4. Management as a Whole - You have to be an employee to really understand cause they are that bad and you would think I am making it up.. But trust me, I am not at all.. They lie constantly. 5. PTO - oh so yeh they changed the pto policy also.. No carry over at all. No pay for unused days. If you get fired/laid off, they are not paying as well. Most managers also don't allow us to go negative in the pto balance, so November and December will be a scramble for half days due to most accumualte 5 hours a pay period. Oh and good luck getting a day off cause again see above about the vice presidents.
