There are some great people that work here. The people that care about making this company better really try, and I hope Quickbase will do a better job of giving them the credit they deserve. Decent benefits if you can actually figure out how to take advantage of them,
On the outside Quickbase looks like a well intentioned, well run company with all of the bells and whistles to offer their employees, however, this could not be any further from the truth. This company is in a constant state of chaos with removed leadership, antiquated systems and sky high turnover. Everything you will see and hear is a facade and simply what they wish this organization was. Do not expect any of those things they tell you to get you in the door to matriculate to your own experience. The benefits while decent are almost impossible to utilize because there is no organization whatsoever. Information lives in about a million different places, all of which are poorly maintained. This is ironic coming from a company whose goal is to streamline processes for their customers. Quickbase has not even figured out how to make its own solutions work for itself, and doesn't provide internal support for its own product. If you want to just show up and do your job don't even bother, you will waste much of your time battling ancient systems and sifting through about 10 different poorly maintained sources to likely still end up with the wrong answer. The diversity efforts are a tick in a box at best. This company is not actually serious about diversity. White males are the overwhelming majority and will continue to be. The leadership here has made the very bare minimum to make it appear like they care, and then completely jumped ship. Workplace politics and leaders whose personal values do not actually align the with real work needed to make actual advancements around diversity severely hinder any real progress here. You can expect crickets from leadership and most of the rest of the company because it has not been reinforced as something of significance. Diversity needs to be tied direct to executive compensation. Career growth and trajectory is non existent. Quickbase managers are not well trained and have not figured out how to retain their most valuable employees. With that being said, most people develop themselves out of the company. Often times people find themselves taking roles with large pay increases and it is only then that long awaited pay increases and promotions become available. Everything here is reactive. TLDR; look for a job elsewhere.
