WLB - Depending on your team/manager, you are allowed and encouraged to use your Flexible Time Off (basically unlimited time off) Company culture - many of the ICs are amazing. They are as bright as they fun to converse with. Many go out of their way to make working here pleasant. Also, leaders in the org encourage and set up DEI events (though, they did can the only employee with DEI in their job responsibility... this is a con?)
Career growth - work hard and not get compensated fairly. This is what I mean by falling in line with the industry when something goes on in the economy. I.e. spend a whole year talking about how well the company is doing and how much $$$ we got, then decide to not give anyone raises (I mean just ICs... yep). With how little a single raise is after the yearly performance review, this absolutely wastes my time after putting in the work to grow and make a living in this expensive area of living. This encourages the culture of job hopping. Pay - I joined after negotiating quite a bit more than what they told me the max was, and they gave it to me. But my current pay has been adjusted once LOL... see above... Management - I don't know if I agree with all the terrible things that were said about the C suite here on Blind. With that said, some are true, and I'm less than satisfied with the leadership here. Besides the whole pay raises thing, there is a lot of exec turnover, questionable decision making, and they just don't instill confidence in bringing the company to an IPO.
