Fair comp package, no crazy long hours relative to some other start ups, fellow IC's are generally good to work with.
Leadership seems rudderless and ignores any critical feedback given Leadership is more concerned about promoting themselves over the folks actually doing the work to make the company and product better Within the eng org, leaderships credentials are dubious at best Way too many management layers for an organization this size causes lots of inefficiencies with decision making, too many cooks and all that Did I mention the general rift and disconnect between IC's and leadership? Leadership making decisions they have no business making (partially because there are too many of them) Loudest idea wins, not the best Did I mention how toxic our leaders are? That culture starts from the top and it's pretty rotten.
