- Depending on the team, you might still be able to experience the values this company was funded with. - Benefits above what the law requires, flexible working hours, and remote work. - Fairly stable business. Not very likely to lose your job due to downsizing.
- Besides de CEO, all the founders are gone. Estaff is the smallest team in the company but the one with the highest attrition rate. - Every C-level comes from sales or marketing, even the CTO. There is no Chief People Officer and doesn’t seem to be an intention to hire one. - These leaders continuously optimize for the business over the people: assigning dozens of direct reports to every manager, putting individuals under burn out on projects that are on fire, pushing the ones with more tenure and seniority out of the company, adding unnecessary bureaucracy to every process, and becoming the bottleneck for every decision. There is a combination of incompetence and narcissism in the way these “leaders operate”. The least qualified team of leaders I’ve seen. - There is excessive pressure to hire hundreds of people every month and invest extra hours in doing it. - The values are diluted and the bar is lower while hiring, which affects the quality of the work the teams deliver.
