I had my onsite interview a few days ago, and I recently received an email from the recruiter asking to schedule a call next week to provide an update on the interview. Does anyone know if this might indicate a positive or negative outcome? If it's negative, why would they arrange a call just to convey that? This was for E5, YOE:8
No indication.
It’s a positive sign. Rejection is sent through mail. Update: that’s not exactly true as mentioned in below comments.
It’s a good sign. Congrats
Did you make the first contact after the interview ? If yes, then the recruiter is buying time.
I did not, they reached out to me.
The most interesting question is buying time for what? Interviewing other candidates?
It’s a good sign. My recruiter did the same thing and I got the offer.
I’ve got a call both when getting rejected and got the offer. You won’t know until your scheduled call. All the best ‘
Would they schedule a call or call you right away for a reject?
Yes, one of my referral got a rejection over a phone call. So stop getting anxious and just wait !
i got dinged via phone call twice after on site :( i hope the other scenario for you op
My interviews were okay ish, so I not keeping my hopes high.
If you do get dinged, call is where you can ask for feedback. They won’t have a ton of specifics but if an onsite they can usually tell you where they needed more signal.
Either way.

Why dont you schedule the call and ask the recruiter🤯
I did schedule it, but thats next week. I don’t know if I should be excited or depressed about it.
If it was rejection they wouldnt bother scheduling a call
