I have the last meeting for 30 mins for the team fit. I interviewed for L6 and the recruiter told me that the performance is borderline L6. Yesterday he mentioned that L6 is still on the table if the team vouches for me before my packet is sent to HC. How do I perform in the last interview? Thanks.
How did you get the interview? Been trying but just blanket rejections. Also how were the leetcode?
The fit call is not an interview. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions about the role. Demonstrate interest. Some easy questions about your background will be asked.

Standard stuff I like for L6 match -- "what are you looking to see a successful candidate accomplish in their first 6/12 months? What's the biggest skill gap among the junior engineers on the team? Which partner teams cause the most challenges or need the most support? How does this team fit into upper management's top priorities?" I also like to flip the interview around and ask the HM about their personal goals, how they want to see the team change in the long term, what their next move will be after this team, their opinion of VPs, etc.
