As much as I disagree with the libs, yes this woman is right.
While I agree with the message I think the person is making a very incorrect assumption about media being the voice of the government. Washington Post does not make US policy and nor does 1 senator. There are numerous media outlets in India that are vociferously anti-US but the fact is that they do not carry global significance like WSJ, NYT etc. And three of the quotes she used was from a relatively small media outlet called “The Diplomat”, which is actually Australian (with a US presence). So if every media report is construed to be an official government stance then we are all screwed. Thankfully, officials in both governments know better
