How are the benefits at Tableau? 401k match is extremely low at $2500 max. How’s healthcare coverage & overall annual out of pocket? Does Tableau pay for commute in Seattle? How’s the work life balance?
What about commuter benefits? Is there an allowance for parking or toll? Is there an office shuttle or bus service between Kirkland & Seattle office?
There is a $150 monthly parking stipend but you must forfeit it if you ask for, and receive, assigned parking. There is a wait list in some offices that can be anywhere from 1 month to a year. There is also a small stipend for bridge tolls, $50-75/month, if I recall. There are complimentary shuttles between Kirkland and Fremont locations.
Why the 401k match so low at Tableau? It’s one of the lowest for the tech companies. Is there a plan to increase it?
Does tableau provide Orca Card in Seattle area? Something what Microsoft & Amazon do.
IIRC full cost coverage for the employee, $200ish premium a month for family and a $600 deductible for family. Work life balance is good. ~40 hours a week and on call is non existent.
