People with multiple incomes should stop spending, I see families earning 2 incomes spend carelessly random stuff this is settling inflation . It just takes 2-3 months to cool price down .
Have you considered how much money in total all the people earn/borrow + spend vs how much the government prints + spends? Which activity is more likely to cause inflation (aka more supply of new units of money)? 40% of all dollars in existence (including debt, ie future dollars) were created out of thin air in the last 4 years. You ain’t seen nothing yet, none of this is due to people making spending/saving decisions or greedy corporations and investors. It has nothing to do with the users of the currency, everything to do with the issuers of it.
You are not looking at inflation impacting consumers group, what ever data is cannot blind fold that rich investors are trying to get more profits . If ground level inflation is controlled rest all get the heat. If people stop spending , profits will reduce , which brings down price , which makes right amount money moving in market this inturn reduces inflation , which reduces greedy investors at bay,

Let’s get the definitions right. Inflation is NOT “prices are going up”. Inflation literally means “number of currency units is going up”. There may be more than one reason for prices going up (inflation, high velocity of money, high demand-low supply, etc). Inflation (of currency) is very often conflated with prices but that’s the trick! If we talk only about prices, the people in charge can blame several parties (consumers, corporations, investors) but there is only one party to blame for (currency) inflation - the central bank.

Where is option for companies taking advantage of chance to raise prices? Oligopoly because there aren’t many competitors to switch to for everyday expenses. The other inflation causing is the printing ofc
I don’t think it’s corporate greed in general because corporations have always been greedy so would have raised prices earlier if they could. However Oligopolies are an interesting argument I hadn’t considered. Which companies would you consider to be oligopolies?
