He gave a guest lecture at Harvard. Based on that and the Jarvis project he did his tech skills are likely in the IC7 range. Adding his business acumen gets him to VP level if not higher.

Why is this a “dumb take” Uber? Hes proven to have one of the best business and product acumens of the last two decades in tech. He would of been successful any path he took at any company.
I think Zuck would have been laid off by last round due to meta’s new direction towards efficiency and cost cutting measure. So, he would have been looking for jobs now. Currently hypothetical Zuck is unemployed.

No, zuck probably wouldn’t have gone into SWE at big corp For example if zuck was in Harvard today he would probably be planning to make some shitcoin or pitching some BS GPT app for investor dollars He basically got lucky that his idea of scraping peoples photos and making a website for them turned into what it did. Lots of kids with similar mindset exist and most churn through attempts at entrepreneurship without creating anything meaningful or profitable

Guys remember he went to Harvard comp sci, would have graduated about 20 years ago. Check where his classmates are, likely VP. Would have gone through both the mobile phone boom of 2000s and cloud computing boom of 2010s.
I’d say it depends on what time he started. If he started near company start could be very high level, if a few years ago harder to move up
