My another friend got internship to full time conversion offer 2 years after internship out of blue yesterday, is amazon hiring like crazy again ??

Amazon is one of the few big tech companies that treats leetcode style screening as it should be treated. There are much stronger signals than someoneās ability to regurgitate algorithms in isolation, unless youāre a new grad with no other experiences
Congrats OP and your friend! Please remind your first friend to be prepared for the behavioral parts of interviews too. Amazon takes that seriously
