I got another offer for Seattle location with these many RSUs and they just matched it after getting approval from compensation committee

Amazon kiwis1 Mar 29

Ah okay! That makes perfect sense 😂

Were you interviewing before layoffs happened? That’s so fast

Yes, kind of sensed it with the way things were moving. We had 15% lay off last year Oct and few folks were asked to relocate to other countries like Mexico and Ireland. I was part of the 2nd group and chose not to move.

With this job market I am happy I got couple of offers in 2-3 months. I had final loops with ServiceNow, bill.com but they either hired internal candidate or someone accepted before I was interviewed. Still have virtual onsite with Amazon and Coinbase. Amazon I am not sure heard mixed reviews and Coinbase said the standard compensation would be $672k but very much demanding work. I will delay the joining and keep interviewing for next 2 weeks.

That’s a strong offer, particularly for Austin, is this as a PM? Really good to see Visa matching RSUs

Visa cmVs62 Mar 29

I agree. It’s a great offer for a 6.5 level in Austin

Any relocation assistance? Not a bad offer considering taxes in TX

The relocation package has changed a lot I think. Previously they had two choice - get one month salary or taxes up $3k , one way flight tickets and choose one option out of 4 i.e 1. moving company will do all relocation stuff, packing, shipping and unpacking for all the household items 2. Get one month rent reimbursement upto $5k, 3. Get one month accommodation, 4. Lease breaking charges Recruiter said that that package is for junior level but manager/SM level they are offering this one

I think that’s the best offer I tried negotiating with visa recruiters and they were really not flexible with me . My YOE is 6 years that could be the reason . But this sounds like a good offer

it‘s not a bad offer
