Got an offer for a IC4 software engineer position. TC: ~180k. Could've probably asked for more, but I am happy with that. What worries me is the working hours / overtime: - 40h / week => fine - supposedly flex time, but the contract is not super clear on that => ... mh... - up to 20 unpaid hours of overtime per month => that sucks! Is this the norm at NVIDIA or can ask for full overtime compensation with free time (and maybe trust-based working hours clearly mentioned in the contract)? General question: How is WLB at NVIDIA in Germany / Europe? Thanks! #leather #jacket #nvidia #germany #wlb #offer
City?
It’s fine, same as working for any US company in Europe.
So same overtime conditions for you? It's my first time working for a US company.
Expect to occasionally work later hours so you have overlap with US west coast workers.
Yeah, I thought so... Hope it won't turn into a permanent night shift job.
Hey Op, what is offered tc breakdown? Have you already started working? I am also interested in nvidia germany and worrying about wlb (not worth if i work 50+ hours permenantly)
