I like my team mates :(
During an interview with a hiring director for my next play, I was asked “what do you look forward to when coming into work?” And I immediately answered, “my team mates!” and I then described how awesome they are and the laughter we have along with the great stuff we produce. Then, it hit me. I will miss them dearly. :*(
If you're getting a better job they'll want to follow you.
But will they miss you?
If having good teammates is really important to you, I wouldn't risk switching unless you're extremely unhappy for another reason. I left a team with a bunch of great friends to chase TC/career growth in another city and it's usually pretty lonely and sad.
