Work life balance is good. 100% remote company (apart from a very small number of instructors who teach at one of the few remaining in-person campuses). Time off is encouraged and off-hours communications (responding to Slack, email, etc.) is discouraged. Coworkers are some of the best people I have ever worked with.
There have been 2 rounds of layoffs in 2023. The first was small, the second impacted 18% of the remaining workforce (more if you count contractors who were let go with no severance). Upper management simply can't figure out how to run a company. The CEO quit in March. Several VPs and Directors have also quit. Only the Marketing department is given any budget.
