The product is extremely fun to work on, especially as an engineer. Also you're not doing something like adtech and instead building stuff that actually useful. The company culture is overall good, most people are kind the toxicity level is pretty low. It can get boring a bit sometimes though, because it's very engineer-y. Work-life balance is well respected and deserves 5-star.
The company is somewhat engineering-driven which creates a lot of miscommunication between the engineering and the product team. As an engineer, you find yourself working on one thing at one cycle and another thing at another cycle. While for a startup this is somewhat normal, too much of it hinders your career growth as even after months of working there, you might end up with not having any success story to talk about. The HR/Recruitment team is the weakest link, which is dangerous for a company that is scaling rapidly. Last but not least, the compensation, especially on the equity side is way too low. I think they're trying to get away with Andrew's aura. So you're expected be okay with being under-compensated because you're working with the "AI Superhero". While for entry-level engineers this might be the case, serious talent who knows their own value will be quick to jump ship as soon as a more sensible offer comes about.
