Lots of great technology. Very smart people on the software side with leaders at the senior level.
There are too many chiefs and not enough indians at the middle management level. My own team had a manger that was wholly unnecessary except for babysitting our work. There was very little trust and the seniors were given higher workloads but had little say in architectural decisions. The executive team needs to be replaced because they don’t actually understand how to enable functional teams or processes that enable functional teams. I think they’re scared of losing their power so they loom over projects and priorities like mother hens.
