A flock of ex Grouponers
Currently work at BH where we are getting a flock of ex Groupon hires almost every week. Just surprised to see the sudden surge of Groupons. New hires in data science or pricing and not engineering though. Is something going on at Groupon? Are many of you getting poached by our recruitere?
They ran so far away from Groupon, they couldn’t get away any other 80s new wave fans on here? Alright I’ll see myself out.
Santa Clara Office was shutdown. Employees were given a choice to either leave or be relocated to another office.
Not required to relocate to another office. Those that worked at SC office will work remotely.
Nah 90% of California employees were laid off and all the offices closed down permanently. It's great you guys are taking them in they have been hardest hit over there of the ~3000 laid off.
Is Groupon going to be able to turn it around given the last 4 months of seriously declining value? I thought there was a chance after the big restructure but now not so sure.

There were layoffs. Someone new or old higher up at Blink has a bunch of friends/old coworkers at Groupon.....
