Ikea plants vs local nursery
I am trying to buy plants for my new place. I bought a few from etsy and I absolutely love what I got. The same plants in Ikea are much cheaper. Has anyone bought plants from ikea here? How is the quality of plants and how do they hold up over time? TC 210k

Get seeds from dollar store and sow them. Good time to sow plants for fall. Local nursery plants are good as well, quarantine the plant from other plants for few days before you put it with others.

I did. I bought a drag tree there 10 years ago, it is still growing.
did you notice any difference between your plant from Ikea and the one from nursery?
I never bought directly from nursery. But I also bought cactuses from 99 cents stores, home depot, etc.
