I am using etrade, the only option I have is to use a check or wire, but the conversion charges in Indian banks are way too high. I have checked for HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank. Does anyone use the wise.com platform for transfer money, it says it costs way less than a traditional bank. Tc: 🥜 yoe: 4
Check xe or western union as well But all of these require a US bank account as the source Wire or check does not require you to have a US bank account
How big is your USD transfer that you care about penny pinching on exchange rates? Use the convenient one. I use icici money2india as I get preferential rate for having used the service consistently in the past and for having a large portfolio balance with them.
Remitly seems decent, lowest I have seen if you choose the non express option.
Using Remitly since forever. Rates are good, have been bad recently but still better than what I’ve seen US banks offer
I use Ria or Remitly. Whichever provides a better rate at the time. Generally both have a higher conversion rate than any other service or bank
