Filing personal injury against Aldi? Advise please
Hi there, needed an advice or suggestion as this is first if it’s kind I will be dealing with. Background: I got hurt as bottle of lemonade (the one from Aldi carbonated lemonade bottle) bursted near my leg, glass pieces due to bursting of bottle charged all over including me of which one glass cut my knee requiring me to rush ti hospital and doctor had to put 14 stitches stitches (4 internal 10 external) How it happened: we keep carbonated lemonade and all other soda bottles cans together, I went to take out coke can and while taking out can if coke, I touched a bottle of Aldi lemonade which got toppled over garage floor and bursted. Grounds for suing:first they should not be selling carbonated lemonade in thin glass bottle, second there should the bottle should be strong enough so that it doesn’t break to cause a serious injury. My worry is what if my little one who usually plays in garage would have been in the situation. Now my question is, does it really qualify for filing a case? And is it worth it. My medical cost came out to be 700 for stitches.

The coffee did not spill as the coffee was handed over, it was split while the car was parked

Now I am afraid to live in USA because of this suing for stupid things. The bottle could have burst due to so many other reasons.
