Got to the first round with Yelp. The recruiter sent me multiple HackerRank tests to select from. One of them has a Django theme (it is named: "Yelp Coding Challenge (Django)"). It is has one question and limited to 45 minutes. Does anybody know what to expect on this particular test? They also has a "Yelp Coding Challenge (Yelp-themed)" which is supposed to be more reflective of the kind of work I might encounter at Yelp. Does it mean it won't be a LeetCode? #interview #sde
Itโll be easier and more practical than most LC honestly if youโre good at leetcode (not just memorizing solutions but actually solving the problems) youโll be fine
The bar isn't high, focus on execution and don't overthink any logic requirements.
Iโm ex Yelp. And all these are true
Yes, Yelp doesnโt ask regular leetcode but if you know how to problem solve and can do medium LC (not memorized), you should be able to do the Yelp coding challenge
