Hi, we ended up ordering tiles for master bath floor. We did a hard wood looking tiles for bathroom floor. The lvp in master room is lighter brown tone that the master bath floor brown wood looking tiles. On second thought, is hard wood looking tiles for master bath a good idea or not? Please suggest, thanks!!! Edit: in the below picture, up pic is the tiles for master bath floor. Down pic is the lvp floor for home.
What's the color? Brown wood?
Do what you like, it’s your own home
😅
If you're using the same tile on the shower floor, opt for a lighter tile. It would be hard to detect mold/mildew on a dark tile until it maybe too late.
Showers floor is different
Did you consider engineered hardwood/vinyl plank? I mean, if you are going for wood looking tiles, might as well go for engineered.
Is engineered wood completely water "tight" (like tile)?
No
The photos look good. However, I personally do not prefer wood looking tiles in bathroom. I would prefer light color tiles for bathroom. Although, it's a personal preference.
It depends, if you want to have a spa feel, why not? My apartment uses hardwood as tiles in the bathroom and it looks good.
Personally, I don't like wood look anywhere in the bathroom except for cabinets. Also, I'm not a fan of yellow-orange hues. Tiles and LVP should be fine for bathrooms. LVP would probably feel warmer in winter but I'd be concerned about off-gassing toxic chemicals (unless the product has Green Guard Gold certification). It's your home and you can pick whatever makes you happy :)
looks ugly to me
Pics?
This looks so bad. Terrible taste.
