The salaries have gone up, but so has the real estate (it's crazy), so has the traffic, so has the pollution! Real Estate is so crazy that 1100+ apartments, each costing about a $1M were sold off in 3 days. And the construction has not even started yet. The local whatsapp groups overflow with religious overtone and critical thoughts are discouraged. And oh the irony, everyone wants their kids to excel in Science! USA isn't perfect either. However India isn't learning the best of the world. Perhaps the whole world is becoming a more radicalized place to live.
Perfect; that sums it up. WhatsApp University and its graduates in general are a big threat…
💯
That’s the best thing which has happened in the last decade. Previously leftist/communist media and corrupt politicians fed us and manipulated us what worked for those mofos. Atleast now people have more power on information than the select few who controlled every news item and gave a spin on it.
What's the best etf for exposure to India?
India sucks
We call it progress
Ya all apartments are always sold out but they’ll have 1 last one available just for you 😂😂
The price you have to pay for progress has never been so clear. Did you really think you could go to India and live a luxurious life after the massive bubble we have just experienced? Admittedly the majority of the country is still impoverished, but thanks to apps like Blind, you will have to work harder than ever to be part of the nouveau riche.
In what part of India does an apartment cost 8.3 crores. Common now.
So in the news article, where do you think the man riding the bicycle lives? Just some news report about some ultra 1000 ultra luxury apartments being sold means nothing. Those are all big business men, movie stars, sport stars buying it up. And it's still just 1000 homes. And there is the tax deductions people get for buying homes upto 10crores. So do not compare some news to the actual norm. Chill

Food is great though and feeling of stability
Subjective. I like that in the US I could get a different cuisine every day of the month. (By great, I think we mean food that we are more just used to)
The “different” cuisine you get will be crap, and tailor made for white american tastebuds and not at all authentic. You will get better food and service in India no matter how you look at it
