I interviewed Yelp London for Applied Scientist role and I think it went well and I like the culture a lot. People are so friendly compared to folks in Amazon. I think it’s a IC-3 role. I am worried it can’t beat my current pay in Amazon (L5 Applied Scientist). Any thoughts/comments/inside information on the pay in Yelp? Worth a move for culture, WLB and remote working if it’s similar pay to Amazon? Thank you. Update: I turned it down. It was too low.
Really? How does Yelp pay people to keep them shut? Like high compensation? I don’t think Yelp pays that well. Or if a person writes a negative review, Yelp pays to remove the review?
Lol. Yelp certainly has its problems, but poor culture isn't one of them (though I'm sure there are different experiences) Also, the fact that they mention paid positive reviews just shows they're flexing a hate boner for some reason, and I wouldn't put much stock in their comment
