Why are there so many orange supporters here
India claims that it never invaded anyone but that is not true. Looking at the map of India today you will find places where the locals are not Indian at all but Tibetan. For example, the Sikh Empire annexed Ladakh in 1834. India annexed Sikkim in 1974. India also annexed Portuguese Goa in 1961. In Northeast āIndiaā you have a whole bunch of Sino-Tibetan ethnic groups that India annexed in 1947 who donāt want to be part of India. India also annexed South Tibet in 1951 which it then renamed to Arunachal Pradesh in 1987. Now this is not unique to India but it does blow up Indiaās claim to being uniquely non-expansionist.
Haha .. hello neighbor.
You should first ask what Portugese and Chineese-Tibetan people were doing in India in the first place? Did we invite them to take our land? India gave refuge to Tibetan people when China actually took their home land. You are delusional at best and mentally challenged at worst. Invasion will be something when we actually nuke Portugal/UK/France to take revenge of 200 years of colonization.
Tell me you are Chinese without telling me you are Chinese š¤£š¤£š¤£
If Iām Chinese then why did I write Check out this post! "How Many Chinese Support Breaking China Up? (Today I Learned)" https://www.teamblind.com/us/s/ZwbVGUTP? I support breaking China up bro.
Who gives a shit?
Haha no such absolutism ever but you are off by a few counts - Hyderabad, Goa and Sikkim were legalized annexations (with proper treaties or referendums). The rest of unresolved border disputes are gray and for each as cliche as it sounds, it's complicated between near peer powers. Non-expansionist is just diplomatic wordplay, all nations have self interests. I wouldn't lose sleep over that, just as believing US on democracy or China on trade.
That means India does indeed invade others (just like other countries). Iām not saying India is bad. Iām just saying to at India is no better than other countries.
Yup it ain't no surprise that India does what the governing party thinks is best for itself. My point is just that one should expect nation states to claim high ground whilst doing something else.
They invaded Junagadh and Hyderabad so no, idk where you got this claim that India doesn't invade
Since when taking your things back become invasion? By your logic Independence was invasion.
Ladakh wasnāt Indiaās. You could argue that Goa was taking your thing back but be careful: China could use the same argument on Taiwan and Arunachal Pradesh.
China can't use the same argument because Arunachal pradesh was never part of China. It was a British colony and being connected to China doesn't mean it has anything to do with China. And also Taiwan is its own country neither a part of India or China.
The Portuguese Goa? L O L
When we say india doesnāt invade it means we donāt want land beyond akhand bharat or what was considered aryavrata or bharatavarshaā¦everything inside it is ours and fair gameā¦got it baby?ā¦š
Lol! Annexed - are you reading Chinese books?
There was no "India" - it is a country with culmination of different cultures and agreements. Just because some regions have tibetian origin - say Nepal, states in India, Taiwan doesn't mean they should belong to PRC Their stance is that once the country is formed, protect it at all costs.
Whatās wrong with using the word āannexedā for India?
