Wondering if i want to make a jump dont want to move to boston. Do they support remote at all? #draftkings Tc: 170K
My role is fully remote so I think it depends on the teams.
Have a convo with your manager about it. No reason to not be fully-remote if you’re doing your job well and attending all the meetings
anyone want to give me a referral to draftkings? I wonder how many are/have jumped from a direct competitor in the past
Do you not have a non-compete? I don't think I've seen a single DK employee (in engineering) who has previously worked at a competitor.
Officially it is team/manager dependent the return to office plan is still up in the air, and the longer that continues the more accepted full remote seems to get. My manager is happy with full remote.
i wonder if thats also why dk or fd is also letting it be team dependent, following the other’s lead. We also recently went to a team by team basis. Thanks! How are things at dk recently morale wise or hiring wise?
I can only speak for my team for morale. It’s been pretty good, my team gets along well and we have hangout sessions every Monday and every other Friday so there is a lot of socializing amongst the team even though we are all remote. I think hiring has been going quite strong. I was hired recently, and my team just got another new hire. There are a good amount of new hires shown at each month’s engineering meetings!
