I am HW EE focusing on power converter design. Over time would like to seek opportunities in more broader HW EE roles such as System EE or module integration. Question- I know my company provides $$ towards technical trainings. Is there any HW design training you would recommend that pertains to EE domains such as sensors, camera, IoT etc.? For example, for power converter design this one is pretty famous in-person 5day workshop: https://ridleyengineering.com/education/analog-lab-workshop/intro.html Tc 250k 9yrs #engineer #career #hardware #hardware
OP do you have expertise in embedded C ? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G1c_WMD_5pU That will be helpful to design smart power converters. Also before designing systems, try to learn other interfaces e.g. I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB etc.
I would suggest to take on such projects internally rather than Training. Nothing better than real world experience. If you are in the Bay Area then UCSC extension has few relevant courses
Ok I see, thanks. If possible, can you stick a link here about which courses you are referring to
