Fragomen reviews

#servicenow #immigration What are you experiences with Fragomen? Is it just me or everyone just hates working with them. You'd usually expect immigration law firms to be on top of information and communication and they just haven't been doing that in my case. It takes months for them to get anything done, and weeks usually to get a response. The last time around I was dealing with them, I was given half baked information which meant I had to take a 2000$ hit and still not get what I was looking for. I have escalated things to global mobility but should I involve leadership in this? Would they intervene and help?

Shitty experience here too.

Microsoft 6yoe May 10, 2021

Not sure why they are still in business.

Everyone who works at amazon says shit about them. I fortunately don’t have to deal with them coz I have GC but I have a horrible impression of them. Frankly I think they don’t give a damn bcoz they think amazon is not gonna fire them. They have plenty of work. They messed up my friends GC application by forgetting to send photos along with the application. I mean who the f does such a rookie mistake!

ServiceNow cyCy8 OP May 10, 2021

Wow, its been that bad, huh. That would reallyyyy suck for someone who waits allll these years to get through a step and then know someone else messed up and your plans are now down the drain. Thanks for sharing and sorry for your friend.

There is one trick- keep on following up with them till your last breath.

ServiceNow cyCy8 OP May 10, 2021

This is the only way out, I guess I'd have to bite the bullet and do this. Based on what others are saying in the thread, I am really concerned for everything now, need to be really watchful

Horrible experience here as well.

Useless people, paralegals do all the work and do a lousy one at that. Once all they had to do was a simple copy paste of the info I had already sent them and they still got it wrong 🙄

ServiceNow cyCy8 OP May 10, 2021

No way, that would suck. :(

Facebook btyo08 May 10, 2021

Trust me I literally told them "guys all you had to do is copy paste" 😂. But they were shameless so they didn't mind

They "forgot" to apply for my wife's EAD card which I realized once my H1B extension came back without her EAD approval.

ServiceNow cyCy8 OP May 10, 2021

What a shit show, I'd be pissed at them. Did they actually get all the necessary documents for your wife and just never applied?

Amazon jump_ship? May 10, 2021

Yup- they collected all documents and applied for both the H1B and H4 extension applications which got processed in time. They completely forgot to apply for the EAD even though I did ask them over email if they had done so. Took us another 7 months to get the EAD without premium processing.

Frago employee here and I'm on your side. I feel really bad for employees who depend on frago to process your info. Please don't blame your caseworker though, they are very overwhelmed since the company underhires people and so everything is backlogged. Your best bet is to escalate, escalate, and escalate if you don't hear back in a week. Start by involving your manager, then glob mobility, then even your 2nd level manager. As long as you escalate complaining, the firm will move your case forward

Fragomen is a drag queen. Too slow with entire perm process. It took them > 1 year after joining to start working, while company said in 6 months they will start process. I gained 3 years and 3 months experience by the time I 140 was approved and 180 days passed. If you like Test Cricket, Fragomen will be the best partner. They can do followup and suddenly 'declare' as well. Their strategies are say "NO" whenever possible and never share any useful information. For EB1A they said 4/8 criteria had to be met, while reality is 3/10 criteria + 1 bonus criteria. Asked them about third country national stamping availability in other countries, they sat on the question and after answering about 3 countries, this is beyond scope of their services, but they can charge for further questions to be answered. Oxymoron. Also vicarious learning tells, Fragomen screwed someone's PERM petition with LCA saying 3 years' experience instead of actual 2 years. That is easily 1 year in that company + 1 more year in another company. A total of 2 years of delay in I 140 process for that person.
